Ministry Description |
Zion UCC, a welcoming congregation in the scenic Minnesota River Valley, is seeking a full-time Interim Minister to guide us through a time of transition. For over 150 years, Zion has been a spiritual leader and community presence. Rooted in German heritage and enriched by diverse traditions, we are a caring and financially stable congregation of 280+ members, eager to grow in faith and outreach. Located 45 minutes from the Twin Cities and 30 minutes from Mankato, in a family-friendly town with excellent schools and vibrant community life. What We Seek in an Interim Minister: Spiritual Leadership: Preach, teach, and lead worship that inspires and sustains. Pastoral Care: Provide presence and support in times of need, celebration, and everyday life. Steady Guidance: Help us navigate change with hope while honoring tradition. Discernment & Preparation: Lead us in reflecting on our past, assessing our present, and preparing for a settled pastor. Leadership Development: Encourage and mentor lay leaders to grow in ministry. Zion UCC is ready to partner with an interim pastor who will nurture, encourage, and strengthen us in this in-between season as we listen for God’s call and prepare for new growth. |
