Emanuel UCC in Doylestown, Ohio, seeks a captivating, motivating minister who can also identify and empower the gifts of the congregation. They participate in a variety of community events and dinners, provide meals and blessing bags to a local soup kitchen, and develop vital ministry when needs arise, including a grief group in 2024. The ideal candidate will be an equitable and empathetic person, help foster church growth through intergenerational activities and strengthening the community missions, and have a good sense of humor. While Doylestown is more rural, there is easy access to Akron, Canton and Cleveland. There are many colleges and universities, a variety of cultural amenities, including museums, theaters and music venues, as well as national sports teams. The Pro Football Hall of Fame is just 30 minutes away. The surrounding communities include excellent school districts with a lower than average cost of living. |
