Ministry Description |
United Church of Christ-Lakeview continues to transition from pre-COVID, to post COVID. Technology helped us serve our congregation through COVID and continues to be a way to reach members and none members that have not or cannot return to the pews. We seek to contribute to a community and wider world where all people know the grace, peace and healing love of God as expressed by the faith and works of the church. As we look toward our future, we are working to be more open and hospitable to all people. We are looking for new ways to serve and have an impact on our community and care for God’s creation. We need a nurturing and collaborative Settled Pastor to guide us, laugh with us, pray for us, teach us and walk with us on our spiritual journey, and to build compassionate relationships with members of the congregation, especially children, families, and shut-ins and also the greater Lakeview community. We are a historic church located in the small rural town of Lakeview Michigan, founded in 1909. We are a relatively traditional church, but willing to try new things.
