Ministry Description |
Are you looking for an interesting and challenging experience in interim ministry? The Dorset Church, with an inclusive, vital, active membership of approximately 350 promises a unique path on your journey. After an incredibly successful 27 years, our beloved minister is retiring. While he and his family will be greatly missed, we are poised to do the work necessary to prepare for our next settled minister. Our church is a spiritual center for our town, the Southwest Association and our Northshire Interfaith Community. Our congregation is a diverse group of talented, creative, caring individuals who come together in faith (and usually food), to do the work of our Lord. You would have the support and benefit of a dedicated staff including an administrator/licensed minister, bookkeeper/administrator’s assistant, music director, two part time pastoral assistants, Sunday School Director and sexton. Housing will be available in our manse and remuneration will be in accordance with UCC guidelines.
