Ministry Description |
St John’s is searching for a Senior pastor after our loving and faithful pastor of 42 years retired in June 2022 and passed away shortly after. This posting is for a settled pastor to guide us into a future full of opportunities to serve God and reach out to our community, both internally and in Lansdale and the surrounding area. We seek someone to shepherd us with faith and a positive spirit during our journey. We desire a leader who can help us retain members by celebrating those who are among us and growing our community by reaching out to those individuals and families of all ages who are looking for a place to call their church home. St. John’s embraces a contemporary message in a traditional setting. We have an in-person traditional service each Sunday morning and a new Wednesday evening family/casual service. We are an inclusive body who values diversity and equality – we “draw the circle wide” and are an Open and Affirming congregation. St. John’s has had a strong initiative to ensure we understand and define the congregation's desires to move forward and grow. We truly believe we are positioned to take the next leap forward in defining and implementing the potential of who we can be. St. John’s is excited to partner with our next Pastor to achieve the new vision for growth and service to our community and to be a voice of faithful service for all. |
