Ministry Description |
“Connecting Our Community To Christ” Friedens is in southern Illinois, off I-57 and in the South Central School District. Friedens was founded in 1884 and has a long history of supporting local missions. We are proud of our rural, small-town values and traditions. We are seeking a pastor with a strong faith, a focus on the future, a strong and effective preacher/speaker, and who ministers to people in crises. Our pastor must be compassionate and make pastoral calls on people in the hospital, nursing homes, and shut-ins. It is our desire to have a pastor who reaches out to inactive members. Our church is flexible in hours worked, with very little office time, and pay and benefits are negotiable depending on the pastor’s situation. We have a desire to be fair with the pay and benefits. We are excited about being led by a new pastor that can help grow our church and increase our service to the community. Our benefits will include: four week vacation, sick days, mileage, and offset health insurance costs. Please know we have a desire to be fair with pay and benefits. |
