Ministry Description |
Plymouth Congregational Church, UCC, celebrating our 125th anniversary, is a thriving church located in Coconut Grove, walking distance from the town center. Our beautiful 11-acre campus is historically significant to the city of Miami. The Pastoral team and several other staff members live on campus. Our membership comes from a wide array of backgrounds and brings many perspectives and traditions. We gather on Sundays at 10:00am to worship the Lord in Jesus Christ. We are Open and Affirming. Our new mission statement captures a great deal about the church: “With welcoming hearts, Plymouth Church seeks to share the transforming love of Christ through Faith-filled worship, study and prayer; Hope-filled service and outreach; Love-filled fellowship”. As you can see from the position description, our Long-Range-Plan set as among our top priorities, deepening our church life, our mission work and our youth program, all of which is why we are seeking a pastor for this important position.
