Pilgrim Congregational Church (PCC), a faith community of over 100 congregants, lies just off the green in beautiful, historic downtown Leominster; a small, culturally and economically diverse city, located in the northern Worcester hills of central Massachusetts. A city with a small town feel that promotes business and community growth, we are less than an hour northwest of the city of Boston. Leominster is a welcoming, exciting, and safe place to call home. PCC’s worship is rooted in tradition, but has recently embraced 21st century technology, contemporary Christian music and new ways to glorify God. We have a desire to be the hands and feet of Christ, as we reach out to serve not only our members in need, but those in our greater community and beyond. We have a wonderful core group of people and strong lay leaders who work hard making our church the great place that it is. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic pastor to partner with us in our journey of enacting ministry in the 21st century. We seek someone to guide us in new ways of being a welcoming environment, in strengthening our commitment to the community and fellowship, nourishing our worship and spiritual lives, and in creating new outreach opportunities. PCC is looking for a leader to not only build on our open hearts, but also to help us open further and dig deeper so that we may bring our strengths, skills and love further into the surrounding community. The successful pastor needs to have the ability to discern the gifts of their flock, be a leader that has a big sky view picture, who thinks outside of the box, and is willing to get their hands dirty.
