Ministry Description |
Chapel Hills United Church of Christ is seeking a full-time minister to lead our close-knit, loving congregation. We are located in a residential neighborhood in Edina, MN, a suburb near Minneapolis with strong public schools and convenient access to the rest of the Twin Cities region. We attract members from around the metro area. This is a time of rebirth for our church. We are ready to explore new ways to revitalize our faith community — and have fun doing it. We have an attractive facility and grounds that we would like to use more effectively. We want to be a gathering place for our neighborhood and the broader community. Our congregation recently approved a capital investment to update our basement space. We are blessed with a strong financial foundation. We have a significant fund that we have invested to support our capital needs and provide grants to a variety of organizations. We want to be a multi-generational church that draws a diverse and younger congregation. Chapel Hills became an open and affirming congregation by unanimous vote in 2018. Our new minister will lead worship, provide pastoral care, exercise administrative leadership and encourage service in Christian love and grace. |
