Ministry Description |
Ravenswood United Church of Christ is a small church with a big heart. We have a long history on Chicago’s north side, and we celebrate the centennial of our sanctuary near Lincoln Square this year. Our multi-generational congregation includes infants and nonegenarians, lifelong members and those who joined during the pandemic. We give a warm welcome to people of all identities and walks of life, whether at in-person worship or through our online services. We value the children of the church, from nursery through Sunday school and youth programs, and offer continuing education and Bible study programs for adults. We recently lost our beloved long-serving organist and are rebuilding our music program. We seek an designated pastor to lead worship and offer pastoral care, collaborate with lay leaders and the community, and to help us navigate the challenges of transition into the next chapter of our story. |
