Ministry Description |
Pilgrim Faith strives to include all. We have a mission identity and care deeply about social justice. We honestly care about the needy and less fortunate. Pilgrim Faith members are very comfortable doing work, but appreciate assistance in determining what should be done and how to get there. We are a 5 for 5 church, host a BEDS homeless shelter, and operate a food pantry. Pilgrim Faith has also been very open to members preaching and sharing their faith, and believe children are our future. We are seeking someone who can help us strengthen our current missions and help us to expand areas where we might support our community. The opening of our food pantry and homeless shelter were two significant events in our church’s history that have shaped our identity within the community. Through these mission projects, we partner with many local businesses, schools, and clergy to make a difference in the community. Our building has provided shelter for those who are hungry, poor, and seeking meaning. Within our walls, people are brought together not only to worship, but also to relay the Lord’s teachings through acts of service. |
