Ministry Description |
By many indicators our beloved church is very strong. We have dedicated staff to keep the administration of Trinity running smoothly, an outstanding music program, community ministries, well-maintained buildings and grounds, and a nursery school. Our financial health is excellent. As we prepare for Trinity’s future, we are looking for a full-time pastor who will not only join with us in continuing our current programs. but will also help us interject even more vitality in our mission and ministry. Our church wants to honor our history by applying innovative strategies to chart our future, with new ministries that address the social dynamics of the community. We want to look forward, not backward. We must balance a Spirit-led vision with realism about the age profile of our congregation. We desire to be a loving, spiritually connected community where people feel safe, seen and welcomed. COVID has taught us much about what we are capable of when we pull together in challenging times. It forced us to update our ability to communicate with our membership in new ways and to offer worship in new ways. We want to build on this new reality by continuing to seek opportunities for new life. In short, we are looking for spiritual leadership that will help us yearn not for the past, but for a future based on God’s will for us. We want to be the church that Christ wants us to be, using our resources to provide a legacy of Christian community that will live long after us. Scripture says, “Behold I make all things new.” We trust that God can and will lead us into an exciting future. We seek a gifted full-time pastor to partner with us in just such a transformation.
