Ministry Description |
Stowe Community Church in Stowe, VT seeks a full-time Pastor to serve as both spiritual leader and administrative head. We are a non-denominational, open and affirming congregation whose theology most closely aligns with the United Church of Christ. We seek a Pastor who reflects a deep personal faith and who is committed to communicating God's love through effective preaching and application of the Scriptures to daily living. This Pastor should demonstrate care and compassion for congregants through visitation and counseling, and welcome and engage prospective new members with an emphasis on young families and youth. Our next pastor will work with staff, board of directors and committees to build a shared vision, create strategic plans, and implement actions to invigorate the church and its various ministries. Outreach into our community is an expectation. |
