Ministry Description |
The Southeast Conference of the United Church of Christ seeks a full-time Conference Minister to serve as a visionary, passionate leader-pastor grounded in a deep understanding of the Christian theological faith who can lead us forward in a new post-covid world. Our Conference consists of 55 congregations within the states of AL, GA, MS, SC, and parts of TN, and our virtual office resides in the state of GA. We seek someone who is innovative, enthusiastic, and culturally curious and sensitive to the multifaceted diversity of our Conference. Our Conference Minister must be technologically savvy, have community organizing skills, practice confidentiality and self care, have excellent communication and administrative skills, work closely with the Board of Directors and the wider Church, and manage the financial affairs of the Conference. If you are intellectually, spiritually, and culturally curious, committed to Church vitality and growth, and excited to provide direction to our geographically expansive Conference, we encourage you to submit your profile for consideration.
