Ministry Description |
The South Central Conference, which stretches through Louisiana and Texas, and includes Back Bay Mission in Biloxi, Mississippi, seeks an innovative, inspirational, and creative Settled Conference Minister proficient in church planting and church revitalization. This spiritual leader will have a passion for social justice. This individual must be committed to the mission of the churches and equally enthusiastic around visioning the future. We seek a clear communicator who will work to implement technology and social media to support existing congregations and share the ministry and mission of our churches, ministry settings, and the United Church of Christ with our communities and ecumenical partners. Ideally, this person will inspire congregational outreach and share the good news of its outreach. We seek a mature and compassionate Pastor to Pastors, who models self-care as a priority, is energetic, strong in character, and can prioritize the needs of a geographically large and diverse conference.
