Ministry Description |
Rush Memorial Congregational Church (Rush) is a 107 – year old church seeking a Pastor who understand the traditional aspects of our Worship Service, and also has new ideals, enthusiasm, empathy and imbue with the Holy Spirit who will lead our Congregation. Rush is an a unique community that is home to four to Historical Black Colleges and Universities and is in the Unique Historical African American Community – The Historic West End. Rush has a unique mixture of young adults and seniors and is at the heart of the Atlanta Student Civil Rights Movements. Rush's Mission in the Community has focused largely on providing outreach to college students in the form of Student’s Bible Study, once a month Monday Night Worship Services to share God’s Love with them on their level. We also engage the community through voter registration and Feeding Students and others in need. |
