Ministry Description |
The First Chinese Church looks forward to entering a new phase of ministry, mission, worship and witness prepared to embrace new ideas in ministry with our English and Mandarin-speaking congregants. We seek a pastor of strong faith who will be engaged in the many vital ministries of our church and lead us in new directions. We desire a pastor to guide our spiritual growth and help us reach out to our neighbors to invite and welcome them to grow with us. We are looking for a minister who will fill us spiritually and inspire us while doing God's work, keeping our roots deep in Christ and helping us to be stronger in our faith. Our prayer is that our next settled pastor will be an effective organizer who can develop programs/events that can be supportive of each member and their spiritual needs. One who learns both from God and those he/she is called to minister. We are a faithful team of God-fearing members that includes persons of all generations. A cooperative team of God-loving members. A joyful team of God-seeking attendees. A social, spiritual & physical environment to attract & encourage young people and families to become actively involved in fellowship and ministries. We ask that you pray, asking God if you are the inspiring, dynamic minister who will embrace and grow our ministry with us and who will lead us to new heights in our journey of faith. |
