Ministry Description |
Our church family seeks a full-time, active, loving and confident Pastor with proven leadership and supervisory abilities and solid communication skills (a sense of humor is often appreciated). Our Pastor must provide engaging Biblical lessons that relate our faith to everyday life. We need a spiritual leader with whom we can develop our faith, increase our awareness of the Holy Spirit, enhance our stewardship process and become the disciples Christ wants and needs. Our leader must be a good listener capable of shepherding younger and older congregants to work collaboratively to offer church, operate the church, spread the word of Christ, and inspire others. We believe our future is giving back to our community and to the world. We believe greater outreach and community involvement are key to our sustainability. Our sanctuary is a place of peace, spiritual renewal and togetherness in Christ, and our parish house is a resource for continued learning, fellowship and ecumenical openness. As identified by our planning committee, our mission is to be a dynamic, welcoming and caring community of Christian faith by weaving the thread of Christ into the tapestry of our lives. In closing, we want you to know that you’re not on your own. We are an active, loving church family who will support and help as is necessary. We have thoughtful church leaders who have guided this church wisely in our economic efforts and our spiritual endeavors, but we seek the right settled Pastor to guide us.
