Our congregation is friendly, open and accepting. We believe in love above all else and that religion is not fear or guilt based. We respect others on where they are on life’s journey. If a member of our congregation is in need, we rally together to lighten their burden. We respect the diverse religious backgrounds/experiences of our members, we are not threatened by other faiths, and enjoy learning from a broad use of religious texts. We encourage members to think freely for themselves and interpret readings in a fashion that is true to their personal faith beliefs. We are looking for a pastor who is authentic/realistic, affirms members beliefs/traditions/faith journeys, fosters respect among members, and is organized yet flexible. |
