Ministry Description |
Immanuel United Church of Christ, Kaukauna and St. John United Church of Christ, Appleton have had the opportunity since January 22, 2017 to experience a shared ministry. This shared ministry allows us to continue and grow into the future. Both churches are dedicated to serving our respective communities and beyond. We are located 9 miles apart allowing us to explore many different opportunities for shared ministries in mission, education, and many more possibilities still to be discovered. We believe our journey will require: • A spiritual leader who will join us in this shared ministry • Increased congregation participation • Strong lay leadership • Enhancing our community involvement We are excited by the challenges this opportunity presents for everyone and we prayerfully ask for the Lord’s guidance in bringing us together. |
