Ministry Description |
We invite a gifted and visionary senior pastor to lead a vibrant, growing and deeply rooted congregation into its next century of ministry. Our historic 11acre campus in the heart of Coconut Grove blends rich tradition with forward momentum, welcoming new generations and honoring a historic legacy. With strong financial health, a thriving membership of 550–600, two associate pastors, and a congregation eager to grow in faith and impact, we are an inviting canvas for a faithful leader. The senior pastor will have senior or associate pastor experience, a compelling preacher, thoughtful teacher, relational shepherd, and strategic thinker. We seek someone energized by the challenge of shaping the future of a church that is both grounded and growing. Our membership is a broad spectrum of theological, cultural and political backgrounds and beliefs. Grounded in the knowledge that all are children of God, we seek unity amidst our differences and celebrate this as a source of strength. An open and affirming congregation within the United Church of Christ, we strive to embody Christ’s love and genuine welcome as we grow together in faith. Coconut Grove is one of Miami’s most historic and dynamic neighborhoods. Plymouth sits at the intersection of tradition and growth. “The Grove” offers a unique blend of natural beauty and urban energy just blocks from Biscayne Bay and surrounded by a rapidly growing population. Miami is a global city, rich in cultural, linguistic and economic diversity. This presents both opportunity and calling: to welcome newcomers, to engage meaningfully across differences, and to serve a wide and varied community. Plymouth is ready to imagine boldly, serve generously, and grow faithfully. We invite you to be part of what God is doing here. |
