Ministry Description |
Redeemer United Church of Christ is looking for a settled pastor to lead our church community into this quickly changing Post Modern Era. Now, embedded in an extremely polarized and politically charged culture, we wish to be open and curious about The Mission Field the Holy Spirit leads us to engage boldly, with courage and anticipation. We want our witness to be highly effective, and the practical ministries we offer, to meet a yearning for righteousness and the felt needs of our neighbors. As we maintain the highly effective best practices that our church community is known for, we are also open to let go of “ways we’ve always done it around here” that no longer yield successful outcomes. Redeemer community has a renewed desire to develop deeper discipleship practices within every generation of our intergenerational community and a willingness to seek transformation that will help propel us forward. We are confident that the Good News of the Gospel, and power of the Living Word of the Still Speaking God, will help us care lovingly for our folks while reaching those in our surrounding communities as “the hands and feet of Jesus”. |
