Monroe Congregational church is a small, open and affirming church located within easy distance from both Seattle and the mountains in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. We are extravagantly welcoming; we take our faith seriously, but we are not a serious people. We envision a vibrant congregation that reflects our community - families, young adults, the confused and misfits - all God has called to be a part of our family. Our music will be eclectic, drawing on the beauty and wisdom of the old and the liveliness of the new. We seek a pastor who can join and lead us on this journey; a pastor who can attend to the pastoral needs of the congregation and work with us as we develop new outreach to the community and new ministries to those in need; a pastor who can preach heartfelt sermons that engage both our souls and our minds, and call us to a deeper relationship to our Creator and to loving service to our neighbor. |
