Ministry Description |
We are a Matthew 25 congregation looking for someone who will shepherd our dedicated and loving congregation of around 50, mostly retired members. We seek the minister whom God has chosen to lead us. As a church, we are characterized by our outreach, openness, inclusiveness, and our justice-focused activities. Task and expectations are to provide guidance handiwork with the worship team to design Sunday morning worship service and the contents of otjers special worship services. Lead worship with assistance of the Worship team on Sunday mornings and other occasions determined by the Worship[p team with the approvail of Season/Council. Preach twice a month, on 1st and 3rd Sundays. Pastoral presence is appreciated on 2nd and 4th Sundays. Administer the Sacraments of the Lord's Supper on dates determined by the Session/Council. Adult education, lead throughout the church year an adult study using a book or topic by the Sacred Conversation Group. |
