Ministry Description |
First Church of Christ, Simsbury is prayerfully seeking an interim minister to plan, lead and oversee inspirational preachings of God’s word, and to coordinate worship with music ministry and Christian education. In the role, the minister will provide strategic leadership to the congregation, Executive Council, lay people and various boards and committees. We are seeking an interim minister to be actively involved as a voting member of the Executive Council, advise and coach staff of children's ministry, and music ministry, stewardship, and work closely with the personnel board to optimize the organizational structure of First Church and handle HR matters promptly and sensitively. Additionally, the minister will foster collaborative relationships between church members, provide pastoral care, and support our churches various ministries and mission work in the community. We are very excited about our future and looking for an interim minister to help guide our congregation on this journey. |
