Ministry Description |
St. John’s: We are a small, hard-working congregation with strong lay leadership. We have recently experienced a short but vibrant pastorate, which included a period of healing. We are seeking someone who is a “people person” and able to connect easily with others and with our community, someone who has good communication skills and will provide a stable atmosphere for growth. St. Mark’s: As a congregation, we are determined to maintain a vibrant, spiritual presence in the Cressona area. Like St. John’s, we have been fortunate to have a dedicated and seasoned team of lay leaders who will be helpful in assisting the pastor in various settings. We are seeking a pastor that will provide spiritual and administrative leadership, that will nurture a worship experience appealing to both young and old, will be an active participant in the community, and will provide guidance and support in revitalizing youth participation. Pastoral visitation will also play a vital role in maintaining a connection with those unable to attend and participate in church-related activities. |
