Central Christian Church(DOC), Wooster, Ohio seeks full time minister Central Christian Church (“putting Christ central in our lives”) is located in Wooster, Ohio, the county seat of Wayne County, centrally located within about an hour to Cleveland/Lake Erie to the north, Columbus/Ohio’s capital to the south, and Akron (Rubber Capital of the World)/Canton (Pro Football Hall of Fame) to the east. It is also home to a small liberal arts college, the College of Wooster, with Presbyterian roots. We have a rich history in Wooster as one of the oldest churches in the area, starting in 1832. We are financially stable, and active in the community, sponsoring and participating in many local ministries, as well as making congregational care a priority. Central Christian Church(DOC) is a traditional house of worship, where we practice baptism of believers, offer weekly communion to all believers, and celebrate diversity while striving for inclusiveness. We hunger for The Word and someone to guide us through its lessons. |
