With roots that reach back more than 160 years, Dover United Church of Christ (Dover UCC) has a history of providing a nurturing environment for those who wish to grow in the Christian faith. As a congregation, we have shared the experiences of life together—both within and beyond the building we call the Church. We have celebrated and mourned; challenged and compromised; and worked and played together, all the while developing in our faith. As we call a new pastor, we hope to find that person who will encourage and challenge us to continue to evolve not only in our faith but also in our capacity to lead lives that make a difference to the church, our community, and the world. The ideal pastor of Dover UCC will have a strong desire to learn and grow with us. We seek someone who will come to care about each of us as we learn to care for them. |
