Ministry Description |
Duties - Youth Director is responsible for coordinating programs for all children and youth at First Congregational Church United Church of Christ, including Christian Education, Faith Formation, Youth Volunteer Club, and other activities with the Senior Minister and the Board of Christian Education. Develop ideas and resources for events and strategies. Seek to expand the scope of youth programs. Encourage the development of the spiritual life of the youth. Attend meetings of and work with the Board of Christian Education to manage Christian education supplies and assist with curriculum. Recruit volunteers and supervisors for youth programs or events. (Sunday School, Volunteer Club, Vacation Bible School, etc.). Coordinate with other youth leaders in our area who are our ecumenical partners, as appropriate. (Sunday School, Volunteer Club, Vacation Bible School, etc.). Follow Safe Church Policy of FCC UCC. |
