Ministry Description |
Compared to many of its sister congregations in the UCC, Grace United is a fairly young church. We were formed in 2010 as the union of Friedens UCC and Shalom Presbyterian. In our 13 years as a unified congregation, we have found our ministry through service to and within the wider community of Fort Atkinson which can be best summed up by our church motto, "Putting Arms and Legs on God's Love." We strive to serve the community - internally and externally - by following an expanded mandate of Matthew 25 and employing the Five Practices of Faithful Congregations (i.e., Radical Hospitality, Passionate Worship, Intentional Faith Development, Risk-Taking Mission and Service, and Extravagant Generosity.) We are looking for a pastor to help us deepen and expand our journey of faith and ministry as we move forward together in response to God's call. |
