Ministry Description |
“You are the light of the world". The Acton Congregational Church in Acton, Maine is affectionately referred to as the "Light On the Hill". What better place to add your light and gifts as our Interim Pastor to help us thrive, even in the midst of transition, as we look to define our identity and future vision prior to calling a settled pastor. The Acton Congregational Church has a current membership of about 85 souls. We offer in-person and online streaming services and have a weekly attendance of around 30-40 during the winter months, which about doubles in the summer thanks to our friends and members returning to their lake residences in the area. We are open to either half time or 3/4 time.
