Ministry Description We are a small church with big hopes and dreams. We want to serve and be an active community center. We hope you can help us realize this dream. We look upon this time as an opportunity to shape our future. We are asking our members to pray, engage, make their voices heard, and proclaim: We can do this! We desire a DTP with resources, experiences and talents in areas of finance and leadership structure as well as a heart for warm relationship building and empathetic conflict resolution. Please help us facilitate the assessment of our current financial situation and plan for future stability. We need committee revitalization and to clarify our bylaws and job descriptions. We are looking for increased enthusiasm for worship, and new programming for spiritual growth for adults and youth. We need help to balance tradition versus modern worship. How can we gently stretch our services while keeping some traditions we love? We seek guidance with ideas on helping the congregation to embrace our new vision statement. We would like you to support our central belief that we are all on a personal journey with God, and to support and enlarge our understanding of God. The strengths of our congregation are numerous. We are close, and do enjoy each other’s friendships. We are welcoming to all people. Our members are so generous with all their gifts and this shows through in good times and challenge. Our Deacons Board and Council have strong and dedicated members who care about spiritual, financial and structural wellness. These two groups come together to serve all. We want to grasp this opportunity with vigor and want you to be our leader, pastor, advisor and friend. We want a vibrant, cohesive church family who embraces our vision, is engaged and uplifted by worship, is connected with God, and participates in church events and missions. If you feel called to work with us, we can’t wait to get started!
