Ministry Description |
We are an Open and Affirming, Accessible To All Congregation that exists as a church because we believe the Good News of Jesus Christ: that God's unconditional love, through the power of the Holy Spirit, gives meaning and purpose to life. Like many congregations, our church has entered a new era, after the initial stages of the COVID pandemic, after the retirement of our minister, after learning how to be a virtual and in-person church, we are primed and eager to discover who we are and who God is calling us to become. We want to deepen our commitment as an ONA and A2A congregation, we want to connect to our wider community and to build ecumenical partnerships. We are seeking a trustworthy, inclusive, sociable minister ready to step into that future with us. We value the peace and quiet of the country while being close to a major metropolitan area. We value the small-town feeling, with the companions of faith who have come from larger cities. We have great local resources but are not at the heart of the hustle and bustle of Parker. |
