Ministry Description |
The Nekoosa UCC has a friendly, welcoming congregation. Our members work well together to accomplish our tasks and journey with God. As we continue on our faith journey, we are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, personable minister to serve our church community. We strive to be The Church of Choice. What we value about living in our area: Our church building is located on the picturesque banks of the Wisconsin River in the heart of the city of Nekoosa, a city of 2600 residents. Members and friends of Nekoosa UCC also come to us from our numerous surrounding communities including Wisconsin Rapids, Port Edwards, Saratoga and the rapidly expanding resort community of Rome. We are proud of our heritage of strong agricultural and paper industries which continue today. Recreational opportunities are endless all four seasons with our plentiful lakes, parks and trail systems. In recent years our area has also become a golfer’s dream destination. We value our great schools, small town hospitality and our citizens willingness to care for each other. |
