Ministry Description |
We are seeking a full-time pastor to lead this 40-year-old church community. We are mostly senior—and quite creative, energetic, and adaptable. We are looking for someone who will inspire and help equip us for the next adventurous leg of our shared faith journey. Do you think ministry with a ‘mature’ congregation would be dull and lifeless? Not so at Desert Garden UCC! Our shared life is not ho-hum. Ever. It is a life that energizes us with faith relevant for today. Are you weary of having to be a wizard of live-streaming technology? We are state-of-the-art equipped to handle that for you. We seek nurturing and challenging leadership to help blend our life experiences into a hopeful optimism. Simply put – just because we have “always done it that way” does not mean that we can’t adapt to new realities. You may be surprised at the vitality of our worship, study, fellowship, care and outreach mission. We take seriously our mission statement: “We love, we care, we share, we serve.” We do love God and neighbor, based out of our spacious and debt-free campus.
