DEADLINE TO RECEIVE PROFILES: MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2018 Lake Street Church of Evanston, IL seeks a full-time Senior Minister to lead and share in the growth of our spiritual community. We practice a progressive, non-dogmatic Christian theology that embraces people from various religious denominations and traditions. Lake Street Church cherishes its non-creedal tradition and affirms that every person has soul liberty. We are affiliated with the American Baptist Metro of Chicago as well as Association of Welcoming and Affirming Baptists, and are located in Evanston, a vibrant, lakefront community minutes from downtown Chicago. Applicants should have an understanding of the world's religions, excellent interpersonal skills, be comfortable with an active, lay-driven congregation and have experience overseeing support staff. This individual must be an ordained minister with a Master's of Divinity or equivalent. We prefer a candidate who has experience as a Senior or Associate Pastor.
