Ministry Description |
Director of Faith Formation/ Visitation Provider -- The candidate for this position will be responsible for developing a faith formation program for ages 3 through young adult. They will create an all-encompassing program which will include Christian education, worship, mission and service. The person called to this position will also be responsible for creating, planning, and executing youth events and field trips. They would develop relationships with families, create artistic and exciting educational and fellowship spaces, and provide leadership for our Sunday school teachers. This position will require some evening and weekend hours. This position is combined with our Visitation Provider which includes providing pastoral care to the homebound, and to those members who reside in care facilities, assisted living, and senior apartment complexes. This may include leading a worship service for all residents at these facilities. They may also be called to lead a weekly Bible study at our church and perform some hospital visits. Ordination is not a requirement for this position. This individual will also assist (as needed) our Eldercare Minister. Membership assistance for this position will also be provided by our Membership Care Team.
