Ministry Description |
The Rocky Mountain Conference is in a 3-year transition period. During this transition the conference is experimenting with different staffing models to increase our capacity to resource and equip a connected, courageous network of faith communities. The Temporary Director of Operations a renewable 1-year position designed to help move towards a sustainable staffing model for the future. This position has high potential to be expanded to ¾ time should the 2026-2027 Budget be approved in June by the conference. Working in close partnership with the Transitional Conference Minister, the Director of Operations will support the institutional health and financial and administrative functions of the Conference. The role supports coordination across staff, Board, committees, and external partners, bringing structure, accountability, and clarity to the Conference’s shared work. This position understands its work as a ministry to local churches and leaders, ensuring that the Conference’s internal operations are clear, effective, and aligned with its broader purpose.
