Ministry Description |
As a part of the Philanthropy Team implements the major gift program of the national setting of the United Church of Christ, holding primary responsibility for the solicitation of individual gifts of $10k or more for the ministries and programs of the UCC. This position will be charged to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward 75-100 prospects and donors, concentrating on the Mid-Atlantic and New England Regions of the UCC, partnering with other staff and conference offices and local churches as appropriate. This position will require both electronic and in-person solicitation and stewardship, with an expectation of travel. The Generosity Officer will be responsible for the following states and the District of Columbia: Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont and Virginia and will need to reside within the region.
