Ministry Description |
The Minnesota Conference of the United Church of Christ seeks an Interim Associate Conference Minister, beginning late July or early August 2013. The focus of this position is church vitality, including the Conference VRV (Vitality, Renewal, Vision) program, and Conference work with multiplication churches and new & affiliating congregations. This individual will also attend to the recruitment and development of new church start pastors and the coaching of clergy and lay leaders in church vitality.
Additionally, this person provides “first call” response for the churches of the southern area of the Conference and staff support for the Committee on Ministry, the Conference Vitality Team and all the Prophetic Witness Teams (ONA, Anti-Racism, Justice & Witness, Global Partnership & Immigration).
