Ministry Description |
The leaders and members of First Trinitarian Congregational Church of Scituate, MA (FTCC) are embarking on a search for a full-time settled pastor. As we move forward in our search, we lean into our faith and trust that we are being guided by the Spirit. We look forward to welcoming our new pastor into a caring and committed church family, sharing our hope and vision for our future. Since our inception in 1634, sheltered with God's amazing grace, we have weathered many storms. As God's people, we are still speaking loud and clear, and we are committed to bringing the vision for our church to fruition. We strive to be the hands and heart of Christ in our community, throughout the world and wherever we are called. We envision and delight in a church without walls where all feel welcomed and loved; where our pews and faith formation classes overflow; where young and old connect, share stories and grow in faith. Ours will be a church sharing joy, comfort, and refuge with the community and where the always present Spirit draws us personally and collectively. We are especially seeking someone to help in rebuilding our youth programs. |
