Ministry Description |
Foothills Congregational church is seeking an experienced full-time Designated Term or Intentional Interim minister with strong skillsets to support our church for the next two or more years as we discern a transition to a settled minister. As you know, it has been a difficult few years for us. On top of all the adjustments, upheaval, and loss through the pandemic, we now have the abrupt departure of our Senior Minister. We are seeking an experienced pastor who would support creative and innovative programming, provide support to our newly called Minister of Faith Formation and Outreach, help us to grow into our progressive call (especially our ONA covenant) and help our congregation heal and move into the bright future we know us waiting for Us! Preaching at least three times per month, the Sr. Pastor lead the Lectionary Bible study, along with our Truth Seekers meetings. It is important for the Minister to connect our congregation with the churches of the Santa Clara Association, in the Conference and Wider National UCC. We are looking for someone who is: approachable, inspiring and skilled in preaching, speaking and present formal presentations. |
