Ministry Description |
Open and Affirming, Earth Wise, Justice Seeking congregation located in Elk River, Minnesota (45 minutes northwest of the Twin Cities) is seeking an interim minister to guide us through a time of transition. Located in a beautiful, historic building with an onsite parsonage. Union Congregational Church UCC has a congregation of approximately 150. Guided by its strong commitment to welcoming whoever may walk through the front door, Union embraces diversity and provides ministry and support to any person regardless of where they are on their life or spiritual journey. A Christ-focused congregation in the heart of a conservative community, Union works to support our community through collaboration with many service-oriented groups. As Union moves forward following the retirement of our previously called pastor, we are looking for an experienced interim minister with the ability to help a vibrant and engaged congregation unite behind their shared values and chart a course forward. Union enjoys engaging worship services with a strong music program. The congregation is currently worshiping in person and virtually through Facebook Live. Compensation package based on experience and informed by UCC guidelines. |
