Ministry Description |
First Congregational Church of Westbrook is seeking a full time Bridge Minister who can lead our congregation in meaningful and spiritual worship. We have completed the interim process, with the help of Rev. Suzanne Personette, Intentional Interim Minister. She has led us through a time of discernment where we have decided to focus on being a community-focused, mission-driven church. We are beginning to re-introduce ourselves via marketing in local newspapers in order to welcome the community and hope for growth of our Sunday school and youth programs. We are hopeful for a “rebirth”. We are seeking the help of a Bridge Minister who is energetic, friendly and outgoing with an interest in helping us understand the word of God. Under their leadership, the Full time Pastoral Search committee can continue it’s work in identifying the perfect Pastor for our smaller, seaside town community church. |
