Ministry Description |
Emanuel U.C.C. is searching for a full time minister with enthusiasm and drive. Emanuel is a rural church in a farm community. Being located about 6 miles from the nearest town is both a challenge and a blessing as people can't just walk to church, but those who get here have a beautiful journey along the way. With a current weekly attendance between 25 and 35, we are on a downward slide which our church family wants to stop, NOW. The "Mud Church" as we are also known has been blessed to be financially very secure, and are in the process of updating the physical building. Our most critical need is someone to lead us in the process of updating our spiritual structure. Emanuel has a history of over 160 years and its congregation is not ready to let that history end with a whimper. If you are up for a challenging trek with people who want to be led, give the Mud Church, Emanuel U.C.C. of Upper Sandusky a good look. |
