Ministry Description |
Touchstone Community Church (TCC) is seeking an intentional interim pastor to help us in the transition to a new settled pastor. As a church in transition, we need someone who will be as committed to the success of our church as we are. We are looking for someone with fresh ideas of how to grow our congregation & strengthen our church as a whole. We would like someone skilled in preaching & presentation, someone loving & accepting of all, someone outgoing & exceptionally friendly and open. While serving as a temporary pastor, the interim pastor would assist the search and call committee as a resource for the work of transition. That work includes assisting with the process of writing a Local Church Profile & guiding the congregation in renewing its mission and vision. We are a new church, and it is our hope that with the right interim pastor we will grow in numbers and maturity to be ready for a settled minister when the time comes. TCC has anywhere from 20-25 attendants on Sunday morning. Small groups are popular at our church. Community service & opening our arms to all is important. As stated in our vision statement, “We envision a place where all belong, when we can become fully who God created us to be, and a place for all God’s beloveds who have had no place.” An interim pastor at our church would assist us in in reaffirming this statement in our search for a settled paster. The interim minister would have and continue in the education and professional accountability in specialized transitional ministry to be the most effective resource for the search and call process. TCC prayerfully awaits an intentional interim pastor who can help assist and refresh our church during this transitional period. |
