The Environmental Justice Intern will help Southern New England Conference, United Church of Christ create and lead school-year programming for youth or other church groups, hosted at two of our Outdoor Ministry sites, Silver Lake in Sharon, Connecticut and Irons Homestead, North Scituate, Rhode Island. Apply here: https://sneucc-reg.brtapp.com/EnvironmentalJusticeInternship The Southern New England Conference, United Church of Christ is comprised of the over 600 UCC churches in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. Our mission is to live the love and justice of Jesus. The ideal candidate will know their availability for full or part-time work and be ready to create a schedule that fulfils the program goals. Applications and acceptance are on a rolling basis; the intern could begin now or Fall 2022. Seminarians are particularly encouraged to apply, but college/grad school is not required for application. Key responsibilities include weekend retreats (two in fall, two in spring). Work is remote with on-sites required. Contact Emma Brewer-Wallin at BREWER-WALLINE@SNEUCC.ORG for further information. |
