Ministry Description |
Associate Pastor for Children and Youth: we seek a candidate who enjoys educating children and youth and with demonstrated capacity through prior experiences. Our ideal candidate is ordained/ready to be ordained. The primary role of the part-time Associate Pastor for Children and Youth is to nurture the formation of faith and spiritual development of children, youth and young adults. Our preferred candidate be ordained and hold standing (or partner standing) with the UCC, and be comfortable serving in an Open and Affirming, Whole Earth Church, ministering to people from diverse and marginalized backgrounds. While this position functions independently, they will work under the direction of the Senior Pastor. Holladay UCC is a vibrant and engaged social justice-oriented congregation situated in the heart of Salt Lake City's beauty with year-round recreational activities just a short drive up the hills.
