Ministry Description |
Lakewood Congregational Church (UCC) is seeking a candidate to oversee programming as either Director or Associate Pastor of Children, Youth & Family Ministries. This candidate should demonstrate a passion for and competencies to lead, grow, and facilitate a thriving Children, Youth, and Family Ministry essential to the health of LCC. Responsibilities include preparation and leadership of Faith Formation curriculum, Youth Group activities (including annual Mission Trip), Vacation Bible School, working with various lay committees/teams, and engaging members and welcoming visiting families. Candidate should have experience working with youth education (pre-k to 12th grade), hold a degree in a related field, and value the arts as an expression of faith. The candidate must possess expertise in child development and curriculum planning, demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and have a full understanding of professional boundaries. Ordination is not required. This is a new full-time position with a salary between $45-$55K per year. Benefits are included.
