Ministry Description |
Zion UCC and First Congregational UCC are two unique congregations from wonderful growing communities looking to learn from our past and grow in the future. Both churches have members that are looking to build upon their faith and relationship with God. We have joined together to seek a minister that will accept full time ministry and lead us in Christian values. Our mission is to continue Outreach for those less fortunate and in despair. Examples of Outreach are: Church Food Pantry, Red Cross Heroes, Fire Department, Library, Backpack Program etc. Both churches are in rural settings but have much to offer in regard to activities and community events. We are located close to great schools, universities, tech colleges, restaurants, performing arts and hospitals. There are many job opportunities with manufacturers and service related companies in the area. Zion UCC at Dale is 15-20 minutes from all of these listed above with Redgranite First Congregational UCC a little further away but very drivable. We are excited about the opportunity that this joint venture will create and look forward to what God has to offer. |
